Number 31 Staff Pick Goes to: CHRISTINE FELLOWS – Burning Daylight:
First and foremost, this album had the best packaging/casing I have seen in a long time, so that made it an easy pick, but also the music is awesome. The CD came to us in a beautiful little book of Christine’s own poetry, the first half of which was her own written poetry, and the second half was the lyrics to her songs on this album, which are poems all of their own. Check out the title track, ‘Burning Daylight’ for a taste, then go pick up a copy of her book-album, the lyrics are beautiful and complemented so well by a serene set of background vocals, piano, and other harmonies. Art, music, and literature all wrapped into one. RH
