Boardwalk contacted the four candidates running for the provincial legislative seat to represent residents of the Memramcook-Tantramar riding. Progressive Conservative candidate Mike Olscamp, NDP candidate Helene Boudreau, and Green Party candidate Megan Mitton agreed to meet and talk about the issues and policies that figure prominently in their electoral campaigns. We asked each of the four candidates to spend ten minutes describing their positions on education, employment, agriculture, and environment, as well as any issues important to them that fell outside of this four-issue rubric.

Liberal candidate Bernard Leblanc did not return our calls. In order to hear all of the candidates, make sure you attend the all-candidates debate organized by the Mount Allison Student Union on Sunday, September 14, 2014, at 7pm at the Brunton Auditorium at Mount Allison University.
