Community Forests International has secured funding to create their Rural Innovation Campus at Whaelginbran Farm. The campus is designed to be a site for collaboration, experimentation, conferences, and workshops around sustainable land use, forestry, farming, and energy that will attract collaborators from New Brunswick and around the world. CFI’s executive director, Jeff Schnurr, joined us in the studio to talk about the process of designing and funding this open-ended and experimental project, and to talk about some of the projects we can expect to see at the Rural Innovation Campus in the near future.
