As the Mount Allison Strike has continued, students have attempted to engage in the bargaining process. Despite a lack of entry points, the Student Strike Headquarters has developed as a potential source of facts and information for students about the strike.

However, the SSHQ has been challenged by administration as partisan and not representative of all students. Ron Byrne had a meeting with members of SSHQ in which he accused them of partisanship. Skip to the 2:30 minute mark to hear about this confrontation. As a result of challenges, the SSHQ have attempted to collate student opinions through a survey. Ultimately, facts will vindicate student engagement. However, university refused to extend the SSHQ’s booking of its room, and the SSHQ continues to struggle to have its engagement efforts accepted by the university. Listen to the interview below:
